Masaka Diocese commemorates the World Day for the Sick in Buyamba Parish
On 10th February 2017, the Diocese of Masaka joined the whole world to commemorate the Day for the Sick in Buyamba Parish.
The commemoration started with a medial camp where people were treated free of charge. Thereafter followed the Holy Sacrifice of Mass that was led by Rt. Rev. John Baptist Kaggwa the Bishop of Masaka to pray for the sick.
After Mass the Bishop visited the sick and offered some items to the needy. The Bishop also launched a new village ambulance.
The function was organized by the Diocesan Health Office together with the host Parish of Buyamba.
